In this latest podcast from the archives of Fly Fishing Tales John Howard visits Derbyshire in central England to hear about the tea drinking trout from local fisherman John Green. 
They are on the River Dove made famous by the 17th century fisherman and writer Izaak Walton, author of the The Complete Angler.

Brian Clarke was the fishing correspondent of The Times for 27 years and wrote two of the most influential books on fly fishing - The Pursuit of Stillwater Trout and the Trout and the Fly, which he wrote with John Goddard. He describes his most memorable catch for this edition of Fly Fishing Tales which he made on Draycote Reservoir with his favourite fly a Black Buzzer.

In this edition of Fly Fishing Tales we are with David Profumo and a big fish caught on the River Shin. David is the fishing correspondent of the UK magazine Country Life.

The River Kennet is a classic chalk stream, famous for its trout fishing and at Hungerford the Commoners have had the right to fish for free for 800 years.  The waters are kept in fabulous condition by River Keeper Rob Starr. Based on an original recording published on audio cassette, this is a longer version, which also includes Simon chasing an elusive greyling with a Houghton Ruby and describing how he and his team have learnt to bring chalk streams back to life.
